Tyler Harcott is a Canadian-born actor and television host. He has hosted TLC's Junkyard Wars as well as Miss America: Countdown to the Crown. He has appeared in minor television roles including Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.[1]
Harcott is married to Genevieve Gorder, the host of Dear Genevieve on the HGTV cable channel. They met through the TLC Network in the spring of 2003 while filming an episode of A Dating Story. The show never aired due to TLC's opinion that the date did not go well, and the network did not want to cast the two stars in an unflattering light. Gorder, however, had other ideas about Harcott and told him that if he was ever in New York (where she was living at the time) to call her. He flew from LA (where he was living at the time) to see her and their first date lasted eight days.[2][3] He immediately moved from LA to New York. They became engaged in early 2005, were married in 2006, and welcomed a daughter, Bebelle, on January 31, 2008.[4] Massive fan of the Calgary Stampeders Football Club, and the CFL. Despite being born in Edmonton, Alberta....Tyler calls Calgary his hometown!
